10. Case Studies for Implementation and Monitoring Phase

Two case studies illustrate how persons with disabilities have been included at the Implementation and Monitoring phase. One concerns the relief rehabilitation sector; the other relates to the health sector.

Case Study: Relief and Rehabilitation for people with disabilities during emergency situation in North Lebanon : Word (4 Mo) - PDF (348 Ko)

The first case study shows how the Community Based Rehabilitation Association , a CBRA including staff members with disabilities, implemented a project aimed at providing emergency relief to persons with disabilities in a Palestinian refugee camp in North Lebanon by using a community based approach.

Case Study: Including a disability perspective in the Health Sector in India : Word (348 Ko) - PDF (195 Ko)

This case study gives an example of the inclusion persons with disabilities at the implementation and monitoring phase in the Public Health Programme of the State Government of Gujarat in India. It has been initiated by Handicap International in cooperation with national authorities.
